Covid 19 Policy

  • Washing your hands is one of the easiest ways to keep yourself safe Do not attend the markets if you: Have been in close contact with a person who is Covid-19 positive


These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in Hanmer Motorfest, organized by Falcoln Fairlane Club Christchu ("Organizer"). By registering for or attending the event, you agree to comply with these Terms.

Registration

  1. Registration Fees: All registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified by the Organizer.

  2. Cancellation and Refunds: No refunds will be provided in the event of participant cancellation, except at the sole discretion of the Organizer.


Event Conduct

  1. Behaviour: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards other attendees, event staff, and property. The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant who behaves inappropriately without issuing a refund.

  2. Health and Safety: Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during the event. The Organizer is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that occur during the event.


Event Changes and Cancellations

  1. Event Modifications: The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, program, or location as deemed necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.

  2. Event Cancellation: In the event of unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond the Organizer's control, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or governmental restrictions, the event may be cancelled. No refunds will be provided in such cases, including if the event is affected by adverse weather conditions, including rain.


Liability

  1. Property: Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the event. The Organizer is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property.

  2. No Liability for Weather Conditions: The Organizer is not liable for any inconvenience or negative impact caused by adverse weather conditions, including rain. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather affecting the event.


Intellectual Property

  1. Content Usage: By participating in the event, participants grant the Organizer the right to use any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the event for promotional purposes.


Miscellaneous

  1. Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the participant and the Organizer regarding the event and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

  2. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.


By registering for or attending the event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Eligibility: The competition is open to all individuals aged 18 and above, including members of Falcon Fairlane Club Christchurch.

  2. Entry Requirements: To participate in this competition, entrants must purchase tickets for the event prior to 25th January 2024 at 6:00 PM (local time). Each ticket purchased serves as an entry into the competition. One entry per vehicle.

  3. Ticket Purchase: Tickets must be purchased through authorized channels as specified by the organizing company. Only tickets bought within the designated timeframe will be considered valid entries for the competition.

  4. Entry Validity: Entries will be considered valid only if the ticket purchase transaction is completed and confirmed before the specified deadline.

  5. Entry Limitations: There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual can purchase to enter the competition. However, each vehicle registered will be considered as a single entry.

  6. Entry Confirmation: Entrants will receive confirmation of their competition entry via the contact information provided during the ticket purchase. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that their contact details are accurate and up-to-date.

  7. Prize Awarding: The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries and will be notified via the contact information provided. The winner must respond within 7 days of notification to claim the prize. Failure to respond within this period may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.

  8. Prize: The prize for the competition will be clearly stated in promotional materials. No cash alternative or substitution of the prize is available. The prize is non-transferable.

  9. Publicity: By entering the competition, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry submission for promotional purposes without any additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

  10. Liability: The organizing company is not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any technical malfunctions that may occur and affect the entry process.

  11. Modification or Termination: The organizing company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances or any other reason beyond its control, without liability.

By participating in the competition, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
